Programming Basics is designed so that you do not need to purchase any special programs; however, you do need to have Java 1.4 or later on your computer. Most computers already have this program on their computer. If you are unsure whether you have this program or not, you can get the latest version of Java by going to the go to the Java website and clicking on "Download Now."
To enter the site, click on one of the links below. You should try using the enhanced version first. If it does not work, then you must use the normal version instead.
